This is the most incredible folder I can find anywhere. I say that because I find a half serrated blade can cut through materials a straight edge alone has trouble with like poly rope. The Heretic Wraith is available with THE ONLY HALF SERRATED MAGNACUT BLADE MADE IN THE WORLD!. Don’t take word. Search the Internet. They don’t exist. So having a folding knife in Magnacut that’s half serrated gives me a top tier premium steel blade that with stand up to almost any use for my lifetime. It’s an heirloom quality knife. With the handle milled from one piece of metal and a Magnacut blade, this is a multigenerational knife. Just maintain your pivot bearings properly and there’s no reason this knife won’t last indefinitely. The Carbon fiber insert on the handle should be virtually indestructible. However, if you can damage it, Heretic can replace it on the handle frame with no problem. Heretic makes knives that are at a level above your common production knives. Their designs are unique and then they use top tier materials and production methods. This results in a premium usable knife that’s not just a pretty design destined to sit on a display stand or display case. These are knives build to not only look good but to absolutely be carried and used. A lot of designs lately Warncliff and Sheepsfoot style blades. These are great for drawing the blade when cutting or chopping and slicing only. This is a touchy issue, but there may be that situation that arises when you may need to use your carry knife to protect yourself or the life of another. Blade shape matters! The belly of the Wraith has a nice curve up to the point. This allows you to have both push and pull strokes not just pull strokes. You can cut a steak or any wild game while camping or hunting. You can skin and break down game with it. But it also has a straight drop point culminating in a blade with a point that when called on can be tactical and be used as a defensive weapon. The blade surface can slice and the point can penetrate if needed. In conclusion. The Wraith is a knife that when carried can be called on to do almost any knife task. The blade is a size that fits between small knives and large. It’s big enough to do most things you will need to do with any knife. The materials and construction creates a knife that will out last you. The design of the blade will perform the tasks you need to do and be there to protect you if necessary. Not many knives made can make these claims or perform these ways. So, for your money, you will save money buying one Wraith and having it perform the duties of multiple knives and never having to be replaced.
